Hi, I’m Rachita Bansal Singh
I was a lawyer at Rio Tinto before moving to Nigeria.
In 2015, I started La Tartine to cater to my friends who encouraged me with dozens of orders.
In 2016 I attended Le Cordon Bleu Paris and graduated with a diplome de patisserie.
In 2017 I worked for a 2 Michelin star restaurant in Paris.
In 2018 I attended Alma Scuola Cucina and trained in Italian cuisine.
In 2022, I went back to the Le Cordon Bleu to pursue a Diplome de Boulangerie - a complete French bread-making course; Since completing the course, we have added new bread bakes to our menu with more to come.

Rachu… OMG, Amazing. I’m speechless😶 The macaroons are just simply divine. I've NEVER had macaroons in Lagos that are just this perfect. Living in Switzerland and visiting France so many times I know what good macaroons are. And this is exquisite. J'adore!!! The choux is soooo tasty! I will have it with my afternoon tea😃😃 macaroons are almost finished. everyone indulged hahahaha. haven't tried the loaf yet.

Rachita, I wanted to tell you the cake was absolutely fantastic- I am quite the cake expert as my mum was one of the first novelty cake bakers in Lagos but yours was fantastic! She makes the best pastries. So many varieties with the best ingredients💯!😅 You need to try her Sticky Toffees Pudding. OMG! her Tiramisu is the best you'll ever find in Nigeria!!!
